SUNDAY
Hartwood Indigo
Indigo Girls were all set last year to tour on their 16th album, “Look Long.”
Instead, the Grammy-winning folk duo of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, a staple on Pittsburgh’s WYEP-FM, ended up doing a weekly series of streaming concerts.
Now, they’ve hit the road and will come to Hartwood Acres for a free concert. Fans can ex-
pect hits like “Closer to You” and “Galileo” mixed in with songs from “Look Long,” which AP called “a passionate and tuneful collection.”
“We joke about being old, but what is old when it comes to music?” Saliers said in a statement. “We’re still a bar band at heart. Our passion for music feels the same as it did when we were 25 years old.”
The show is at 7:30 p.m. at the Hartwood Acres amphitheater in Hampton.
Hazelwood Green
Pittsburgh Afrojazz/funk group Afro Yaqui Music Collective and rapper Livefromthecity perform a free concert at the Plaza at Hazelwood Green, 4734 Second Ave., in Hazelwood.
